Rooted in Earth Tending

Deep Ecology & Facilitation (Parallel Practice)
I facilitate deep ecology–informed spaces that build grounded leadership: deep listening, emotional resilience, sensemaking, relational trust, and ethical storytelling. I bring this practice into youth/community work and into the way I lead in professional teams.
Current Project (supported by The Work That Reconnects Network – Emergence Fund)
In Sierra Madre, I’m collaborating with a fellow practitioner to support Indigenous youth leaders through a localized Work That Reconnects / Deep Ecology learning journey, blending ecological grief tending, land-based practice, and culturally rooted worldviews.

How I facilitate
(mindful/safe spaces)
-
Clear containers + gentle leadership
-
Trauma-aware pacing and consent-based sharing
-
Emotional steadiness under pressure
-
Cross-cultural sensitivity and non-extractive storytelling
-
Practical integration (so insights turn into actions)
One-on-One: Earth-Based, Trauma- & Grief-Aware Support
Alongside my facilitation work, I offer one-on-one sessions that are trauma- and grief-aware, rooted in deep listening, body-based grounding, and Earth-based practices. This isn’t therapy and not about fixing. It’s about creating a steady, respectful space where you can feel what’s true for you, make meaning, and move forward with more clarity and gentleness.
This can be for people navigating:
-
ecological grief and climate anxiety
-
burnout, overwhelm, and nervous system fatigue
-
life transitions, identity shifts, and “I can’t go back to the old way” moments
-
the longing for deeper belonging—with self, community, and the living world
My approach is shaped by sacred space holding and deep ecology: presence over performance, consent-based pacing, and a focus on what your body and inner world are already communicating. I often weave in reflective prompts, simple exercises/rituals, and practices that support grounding.
If you’re curious: I offer 1:1 sessions as soul companionship / sacred witnessing, a steady container for emotional alchemy, integration, and recommitment to what matters.
This work is supportive and reflective. It does not replace psychotherapy or medical care.
